Terms & Conditions

All intellectual content included on this site is the property of Gatherly Virtual Events Inc. (hereafter referred to as "Gatherly") or its content suppliers and protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.

Cancellation and Refund Policy*

Gatherly will provide you, the client, with a refund if you cancel your experience prior to the start of your event, provided cancellation was given with at least ten (10) days notice. These do not inculde any amount paid as a non-refundable deposit for production. Refunds will be issued to the organizer within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Any cancellations requested within the ten (10) days prior to the booked event, will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the client invoice. 

We reserve the right to cancel an experience due to events beyond our reasonable control. In the event an experience is cancelled, we will notify you as soon as possible. You may choose to receive a full refund of your registration fee or credit on another experience. Reciprocally, if an event must be cancelled by the client due to events beyond reasonable control, Gatherly will make every attempt to reschedule your event at another preferred date and time.

Complaint procedure

Gatherly maintains the highest integrity for providing quality group events. It is the mutual goal of Gatherly as well as its clients to maintain certain standards of quality and respect. 

  1. Complaints should be sent by e-mail to info@gatherly.io. Complaints received by phone will be documented, and the complainant will be requested to submit the complaint in writing. 

  2. The Letter of Complaint must contain the following: 

  • A detailed description of the problem(s); 

  • The approximate date(s) that the problem(s) occurred; 

  • The full name(s) and title(s) or position(s) of the individual(s) involved in the problem(s); 

  • The name and mailing address of the complainant; if the complainant specifically requests that anonymity be maintained, GoLocal will keep all personal information of those involved confidential. 

In addition to Letter of Complaint, copies of any relevant supporting documentation should be forwarded to Gatherly. 

Note: Complainants will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 14 days of submission in writing, of their Letter of Complaint.

Intellectual Property

All proprietary information shared by the client shall be his/her own intellectual property and shall remain his/her own unless Gatherly otherwise hereto agree that such intellectual property shall transfer to the Event Organizer. Any recordings of virtual events in whole or part is property of gatherly, and may be used for creation of promotional material.

Publicity

Any audio or visual recordings and rebroadcasting rights will be on a non-exclusive basis and additional fees may apply. Gatherly may, with the client’s consent, promote the Event via social media channels. Any additional promotion or publicity will be requested by Gatherly in writing and is undertaken at the client’s sole discretion. Visit our Privacy Policy for more information.
