How to manage the waiting room
Setting up the waiting room
You can set up the waiting room before your event from your account. After logging in at account.gatherly.io, go to your event and go to the Event Info tab:
Scroll down to the Advanced section:
There are 3 different settings available for the waiting room.
Everyone means that all attendees who join the event will first be placed into the waiting room until an admin lets them in.
Limit means that attendees will automatically join the event until the limit you set. Afterwards, new attendees will be placed in the waiting room until they are let in. (This setting defaults to the capacity you set for the event.)
Auto-join means that attendees will always automatically join the event, regardless of the capacity of the event.
You can also change the waiting room settings live during the event via the admin control panel.
